ACT advice

Hiya,
So I would like to get the kind of ACT reports that people post in chat that show each player's DPS and the max hits, etc. I have ACT installed and I know it "works," in that it's recording combat logs. But I don't know how to get those nice reports. How do I do that??

I can see txt files logged, but they basically copy what I'd see in the "combat log" window, instead of just showing me how much damage I am (or, really, am not) doing. There's a little ACT icon on my topbar, and I can tell from that how long a fight lasted, but nothing else. I can click an option to see more details from there, but it just opens the in-game browser, which doesn't load anything. Can you tell me what I'm missing? HALP pls folx.

ACT uses chat scripts to generate the reports in game. You should be able to type "/actchat" to get it to show the parse in chat 😎

To get the little icon working properly, (which allows you to look at the parse without needing to throw out a link in chat, so good for personal use,) you need to tell it where your combat logs are. In file explorer, open the properties of any combat log, and copy the file location (ctrl+c once selected). Then in game, right click the addon icon, which will open a grey configuration window. Then just click on the empty panel beside TSW Game Folder and paste the file location in (ctrl+v).
You should see something like this:

In my version of ACT, I right click on the icon to cut and paste the location of my combat logs. Once it knows the location of the combat logs, it's able to display the parse in the SWL web browser window any time you click on it.

Also, FYI, if you haven't run ACT in a week or more, it "forgets" the location of the combat logs, and you'll have to do the whole cut-n-paste stuff again.

cant setup ACT. i do all of steps in info, but... just no damage show... :(
and dont understand why O.o
both ACT and plugin work normal, but no parsing... and i see its started in gamelog.
PS. my settings is different than i see from AWOL's screenshot(but downloaded last versions of ACT/plug so must work). i think i do something wrong...

It's possible that my plug in is an older version, I've no idea when i downloaded it! I've been meaning to go through a fresh install and check it's all the same, might do that later 😃
