Guess I need to do one of these lol Just started SWL not to long ago and couldn't get over how fun the quests were and the stories they told were really scratching that gaming itch that I've been needing for a long time. Having a lot of fun so far but still trying to dust the noob off lol. Been gaming a lot of years going all the way back to EQ pre Kanark. Played a Necro as a main and did a few raids but mostly solo or ran with friends. Left EQ for a change of pace and found myself in Dark Age of Camelot on the Guinevere RP server for Albion. That was tons of fun but I kept hearing how Necros, yes I played a necro there too haha, just weren't meant for PvP. So I started making a name for myself. I'm sure if you dig into old DAoC posts for RvR you'll run across a little blue necro being talked about lol was in a large alliance that did relic raids regularly and liked to PvE in the RvR zones, almost exclusively. I would take the lower levels out and show them how to get around. It was a lot of fun but like most games they changed to much and it just wasn't the same game anymore so I quit. Started closed beta testing for vanguard and it was fun too but the people above the Devs just wouldn't listen to us. Continued live for a while after release then jumped to the next closed beta, LotR. that was ok but I got bored quick. Played Tabula Rasa since launch and stayed till it closed, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't more popular, really was a lot of fun. Fallen Earth was in there somewhere too lol. Really been jumping from game to game till now. Finely found something I could sink my teeth into. Between the stories and lore and progression, really a lot of fun so far lol
As far as the real-life me? Nothing exciting, I'm a 40 year old male and Head of Security for a CTPaT level 3 facility. Fancy name for babysitter that does tons of paperwork and has to deal with DHS Audits every 3 years, which is quite extensive and causes more gray hairs every year. Sometimes in game I can be quiet, other times its hard to get me to shut up, but I'm fairly laidback. Got me 3 babies, Clarisse (5 foot long ball python) Diablo (Mexican Red Rump Tarantula) and Becchino (Lasiodora Parahybana) that's 7" now and still growing. Becchino gets cranky when I take her leaves out so the crickets can't hide in them lol she's a trip lol. but that's me, some anyway lol gods I'm not sure I needed to type all that, makes me feel old lol.
