Just wondering if anyone's currently active in SWTOR (like the subject says ^^). I've been out of the game for a long time and wanted to see what's changed.

Haven't played for so long, they even stopped sending me all those "Your companions miss you!" emails.
What!? My companions never missed me... BASTARDS! Lightsaber ignites
LOL 🤣 🤣
Not playing right now. I enjoyed SWTOR for a while when it went F2P, even subscribed for a couple of months, but in the end couldn't tolerate all the MMO limitations after playing old KOTOR games, such as being able to equip blaster rifles as imperial agent, but not pistols.
I read about big update in the game last year. The article about update was very positive in tone, but I couldn't help but think how game is turning into casual crap as I read: all companions could perform any role, companion equipment removed, player stats removed. Don't think I will bother coming back now.
Funny this was posted. My kids decided to login to their F2P accounts and start playing this past week. They have pulled me in and we are doing a bunch things in SWTOR right now, thus my absence from TSW. I am seeing a lot of change and will have a better opinion later.
Based on a couple things I have read some of the changes were geared toward making the game closer to KOTOR and to allow you to completely solo it with out anyone.
I've been looking at my old lvl 50 characters and just wondering what the hell is going on with all their stats and abilities now - a LOT has changed since TSW came out and I stopped playing SWTOR.
The currency cap seems bizarre too - all the AH stuff is selling for millions, but as F2P i'm capped at 350k...
I played it for 2 years, but left a year ago. Also wondering how it evolved by now.
Hey all, I still play regularly although I haven't played all the new DLC yet and I've been playing less this year so far. My main is a scoundrel on the Ebon Hawk (Mazikeena), so feel free to ping me if you see me online! I also organize social raids (Story Mode) although I am on hiatus for vacation (which is also why I am not running lairs).
And yeah, the game has changed a lot -- they've simplified the stats, changed how companions work, added dynamic level adjustment (like in GW2) and added a lot of story content.
About six months late to the party, I know, but I play SWTOR semi-regularly. Actually, it was my first MMO crush. I stepped away from it for a while this year, but I'm back in it with the new expansion released. I've got a whole slew of characters, but check for Shairi/Elthilia/Rheeve/Kasmah on Imperial-side or Jeluna/Lassah/Shiri Republic-side if you want to catch me.
Still want to start with this game, if only for the singleplayer campaings. I've heard/read the story should be very good for MMO standards.
But I also need to go back to FFXIV sometime.... + some singleplayer games from my backlog + keep playing TSW. But someday I will play SWTOR.
Just don't wait until EA is out of business and game is closed, DeForestt.
Given the feedback from the SWTOR forums, the latest patch pissed off a lot of players. I do plan to finish the Agen and Sage stories some day (my Agent has been sitting in the Belsavis cantina since 2013).
(looks like i forgot to hit submit last time i wrote this...)
So with the latest content patches, are you still playing your existing character, or some new one? is it even still multiplayer? just looking at the trailers it's looking more like KOTOR (which was great) than SWTOR.
