Hey everyone
Here is a little guide on how to automatically join any channel. When I just started to play this game I found it really frustrating that you needed to manually typ in a command to join the channel you wanted to be in. With this guide you will join any channel when you first login the game.
This is also very handy If you want to keep track of your progress as tank, dps or healer and not spam the chat (with ACT you can see how much your dps, glance, highest crit, ect was in a fight) My langues is Dutch so everything will be displayed in Dutch. Apologies for this but you should have all the same options as descripted in this guide in your own langue.
Step 1: Rightclick anywhere on you desktop and open a new textfile
Step 2: Rename it to: auto_login (use this exact name or it wont work)
Step 3: Remove the file extension so the textfile becomes just a 'file' You will get a message that the file will become unusable, ignore it and press yes.
I use W10 so with me it automatically shows the extension .txt when I create a new textfile. However If this is not the case for you then open the textfile and goto File > Save as > rename it to auto_login.abcd > select save as all files in the dropdown menu > Save it to your desktop. If you did It correctly there will be a textfile auto_login.abcd on your desktop. Now rightclick the file and remove the extension .abcd from the name.
Step 4: The file icon of the textfile will have changed. Rightclick the file and check the settings. The filetype should be 'file'
Step 5: Open your file, because the extension is removed your computer doesnt know how to open the file. It will ask you how you want to view it. Select textfile and press ok.
Step 6: Enter the channel you want to join when you login. I have the option logcombat off/on in there for ACT. The Delay line tells the SWL server that it needs to wait 5 seconds before executing the commands. 
After you entered everything you want goto File > Save.

/chat join sanctuary
delay 5000
/chat join LittleAurora
Step 7: In order for this script to work you need to make the folder 'Scripts' where you saved SWL on your computer. Mine is at C:\Program Files (x86)\Funcom\Secret World Legends
Step 8: Open the folder that you just created and place the file auto_login in it
