[OOC Origin of the character, this is like an excerpt of his diary, have fun reading, since my main language is German there might be some errors, feel free to correct ^^]

    Storymode – Coldwinters Origin

    Exempt of personal notes:
Sometimes I miss my old life – no rules, no orders just the chaotic evil frame of reference I st myself. German society is very regulated by itself, you inherit the „old guilt“ - yes, what happened in World War II was terrible, but how am I to blame, was´nt even born back then? There are atrocities committed everyday... Do a regular 9 to Job everyday, be another faceless hamster in the wheel? Believe the comforting lies of the mass media? I did military training, gained some contacts and hey, if the government can sell merchandise to the bad guys why can`t I? Always got a thing for weapons and the net makes it so damn easy.

I always had this weird ability, to foresee things and manipulate objects, had my plan set, make money then get out and live the good life, Thailand or Cuba here I come.... Then came the dream. Swallowing a bee? Well, it sure solved any heath problem I ever had. Health insurance and coverage isn't much a problem in Germany, but the paperwork and accuracy is... Moved to new for for business, having my own death certificate as a wall decoration in th office. Rent and hospital fees are insanely high even with my ill-gotten fortune out of my weapons trade business. Then came the I-swollowed-a-bee-thing.... Insane shit.... Wrecked my freaking apartment, until I got a hold of it. Illuminati?

A weird urban legend in Germany, the Freimauer, hell i´ts from Bavaria so well´s on the same weird level as lederhosen, guys... The people in power play every dirty trick to stay in power to stay there, the populace dosen't want to know how dirty the truth is, so they believe their dirty lies willingly. So this guy comes to my office, acts like an announcer of one of this shows like American idol (believe me if I say the German pendant is was more scary...) Acting all businesslike I take his later and write him off as filled- weiredness-qouta of the day. Curiosity killed the cat, so in a especially boring week I visit the place mentioned in the so called recruitment letter. Got knocked down by some nice guys in blue uniforms and woke up on the chair of a guy who is Albert Einstein crossed with every mad scientist you can imagine. I knew this world was fucked up, but this even surprised a cynic like me... Followed trough the motions, gaining control is something I can understand, being expendable? Who isn't? They have their agenda, I keep to mine, works out so far. Blondie or KG is entertaining so far. We don´t save the world, we maintain or position and make sure we come out on top, fine with me. Also, being in my line of work has taught me to make sure to be not that expendable that you end up on the cultist.

All this occult bullshit added another dimension to it. Still I want to see more of it, I hate following the stupid concept of “Feindbilder”. The Templar's wouldn't still be around if there only agenda is to save this lost world or the Dragon, if they are as chaotic as propaganda makes them look like. So after getting a position where I´m no longer that expandable, it´s time to investigate on the big picture. Always did my fieldwork on my own, taking care of my agents as example from this rule.

Never been a that social person, relationships require trust and explanations, never excelled in those subjects. Well, I really liked the movie "Fightclub", so why not attend or “secret worlds” insane version of it?

Summary of surveillance: Learned, Templars can take a beating and can hit very hard, also some Dragons present, need to get more data on this.

Did a second round of fightclub after Christmas: Loved the experience, chaotic mayhem, there´s groups of people out there fighting the eldritch horror together regardless of faction. Gonna join one of the so called cabals.

Update: Got accepted, interesting experience so far, highly efficient, source of information and sharing the occasional drink without having to take care about mentioning the demon you killed last night. Not a thing I will tell in the next round of questions and answers, but a pleasing experience.

Lenard, social structures can help not to lose your mind over all the supernatural madness we are confronted with. Maybe helpful in how I deal with my agents....
