The Secret Podcast is working with Jingi to run a writing event trough the month of October. As you can imagine it is suitably themed 😉
I'll copy and paste the post from the Official forums as there isn't much I can really add aside from we are really looking forward to seeing what people put together.
Hello there! My name is Gin "Jingi" Synrio.
I will be hosting, along with a few friends, a small community event for the month of October. This will be a month long event that will end on October 31st.
The event will contain two types of entries and all are welcome to enter both!
Dates & Times: October 1st, 2015 @ 12 AM - October 30th, 2015 @ 12 AM (Central) / October 31st @ 4 AM (GMT)
Prizes will be announced on October 31st.
Events:
Writing Event #1 - A two sentence horror story, containing TSW themes. We would like these preferably without expletives (curse words) but if not that is fine.
Writing Event #2 - A short story, (Or paragraph if you wish) centering around player made horror stories which contain TSW themes. (1000 Word Max). It can be as short as you like as long as you're able to convey your TSW themed horror story.

Grand Prize: To The Nines (Heroic Outfit)
2nd Place: A selection of Blue Signets + German Shepard (Epic Companion Pet)
