    Hey all!

As you may know, we had a dungeons event on the 24th of March the point of which was to pre-arrange shuffled groups to get people together that might not normally run much content together, for one reason or another. As always with organising something for the very first time, it was a little bit of trial and error, so I made this thread to hopefully get some feedback from those that participated, any comments, suggestions for the next time (if you even want to see another one of these happening, etc.)

My own thoughts and what I would do differently if there were to be a next time:

    • I think the biggest hiccup came from the fact that some groups were missing people. We had 17 sign-ups, so I figured it's a pretty safe bet to assume we can get 3 people to join each rotation who had not signed up (which we did, by and large). However, I failed to take into account that some people who signed might not show up, might have to leave unexpectedly, etc, leading to a little more confusion than we really needed. Learning moments for the future: 1) really stress the importance of signing off if you're not going to make it or letting people know if you're going to be late, so I wouldn't count in people who are not going to be there; 2) maybe think of having a check-in time 15 minutes before starting to know who's there and who's not, to make changes if necessary.

    • Maybe limit the planned rotations to 3 30-minute changes, to make the event shorter and also to take into consideration the fact that some people might not want to spend MoF on keys (i.e. if a Patron runs 1 dungeon each rotation, spending 18 keys total; it'd also be easier on non-Patrons with 10 daily keys to spend).

    • Have someone coordinate the groups and help out who is not participating in any groups themselves. This is more from my own perspective, but I found it really weird trying to tank a dungeon myself and also try to keep an eye on 3 other groups. That'd probably be easier on everyone organisation-wise as well.

Any general comments on the event, ideas, suggestions, etc, leave 'em down below.

I was ignorant of the event, yet logged in to find it going on, so I became a "mystery person". I loved it and thought it was a great notion. You can consider me interested in signing up for future ones, time permitting.

As for mechanics, yeah, it was a bit raucous, but some of that was just my own confusion. I don't have specific suggestions for improvement, though, just an expression of happiness and encouragement for more.

I had my usual problems with lag and was forced to leave when the third rotation happened, but i had fun and i believe that it is something that we should do again. What i liked the most, was the atmosphere, and the fact that everyone was happy to be there, and not interested in just "clearing" a dungeon.
I approve pretty much all the changes you thought about (especially signing off, that might be very important for this kind of event), and maybe we should spam a bit more regarding the event, if necessary, we could even inform directly the newest recruits, to check if they are interested.

Thumbs up on the event and the rotation idea from the Duude!

I'd like to continue to see it done once or twice a month on the weekend. It's a good way to meet newer people in the cabal or people you just don't see that often due to work and timezone conflicts. And it provides a fun opportunity for the people who are not interested in doing the daily grind for gear anymore because they are well past E10 to grind with old and new friends for a day or two a month.

Was pretty sorry about only being able to join 1 dungeon, because I had other (camping) plans for that weekend. Didn't sign up so was a temporary mystery person. Regardless, I'd love to see this event returning. Only improvement I see that (at least for our group) 30 mins was a bit short and we only did 4 bosses. Main reason was that we started late (because incomplete group) and as a result we only had 20 minutes total. So maybe 45 minutes works better (ppl can get coffee/snack or perform certain rituals while waiting for next round). This at least gives everyone plenty of time to finish.

Can do shorter ones with say bi-weekly frequency, assuming at least 10-15 people are interested. 45 min each, 2 rounds (to prevent any 'key issue'). Short and very manageable.
Great initiative, cool event, and in general great opportunity to get to know one another better. Three thumbs up from me (because I have to beat Duude and he only has two thumbs).
I'd seriously love to see this returning
