Fist of all, thanks for checking out our team page for Extra Life, the goal is to raise funds for charity which goes towards children in need (further details at the end).
WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?:
Extra Life is a Children's Charity event that is held worldwide. The Purpose of the event is to raise funds for children with physical and mental health needs from a variety of areas across the US States and in Europe.
Money is made via donation from viewers of the Extra Life Donation Pages, promotion is normally made by promoters live streaming gameplay on social media sites for entertainment, the donations made on stream and to the donation page are then proceeded to the Charities highlighted by the promoters.
Of all finance made 89.9% goes directly to children in need, with the remainder for organisation costs, in comparison to other charity events this is very positive when compared to other mainstream charity sites.
Last Year Funcom raised over $12,000 in donations for children in need and the aim is to meet this aim or break it in the upcoming Extra Life day on the 4th of November.

Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
On Game Day (Nov. 4th), I will join the thousands of gamers and dedicate an entire day to play games and get donations from friends like YOU!
100% of the donations go to my local hospital. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids!
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for children in need.
