Free ways to record stuff

Hlop, what was that free program you were using to record videos a while back?

You can use Open Broadcaster Software or FFsplit

mojo had a good guide on setting up OBS for local recording, so if cry or Kal can poke him for repost that would be great.

I'm not really intending on starting streaming, it's more for making some videos, recording triumphant Fac runs and the like 🙂

Both of them record locally as well, as I said mojo had a guide for optimal setup of OBS to do just that.

It corrupted 🙁 I can't find the info from when I installed it either.

I might still have it...

just installed FFsplit, so i'll see how that does. Tbh I could probably find all the relevant info again, i'm just lazy!
