Hello all. . . thank you for accepting my application

So I was sitting here at work pretending to work, and I thought I'd take the time to check out my new home in SWL. Here are a few fun facts about me that I can provide as an introduction of sorts:
-I'm a full time surgery nurse and part time student in California (getting my Masters in Nursing).
-I'm usually online from 4pm-8pm PST on most weekdays and all day on weekends.
-My preferred role is healer, but with the rise of sustain tanking I've grudgingly started working on a DPS gear set. I also tank, but not as well as I heal or dps. My current gear level is 1K+ in heal/dps, 900ish in sustain tank mode.
-I keep backyard chickens, so it's good to be my friend, because I give away free eggs.
-I consider myself a tried and true gaming geek. I played D 2.0 when it was "that newfangled D", however my Friday night gaming group is currently doing Pathfinder. Ask me about my lvl 15 gnome summoner, I dare you!
-I am still in mourning for COH/COV and now that they've turned the maps into a giant chat room, I sometimes log in just to hear the Atlas park theme music and reminisce. Justice server represent!
-I love fast cars and loud music. My current ride is a 2015 V8 Chevy Camaro SS convertible and when they say it'll do 150 in the straights, they are NOT lying. My favorite weekend activity is throwing that bad boy around tight corners at high speeds while doing my best not to climb a tree in a camaro. Rob Zombie playlist optional. . .
-I love sci-fi/fantasy/superhero/horror genre fiction (movie and print) and love to get recommendations for books and bingewatches

Me too... Triumph. When the evil NC SoftBeast destroyed the city, many of us washed ashore here.

I still have COH/COV loaded on my old gaming desktop and I refuse to discard the old box because I'm afraid I'll lose the code forever. I keep hoping someday NCSoft will come to their senses and allow the fans to restart the game. I keep hearing rumors of an invitation-only pirate server version, but. . . shrug

You know you're a little too attached to COH when you start having fond memories of farming the praetorian missions to power level your second account's new toon. . .

I was thinking about CoH the other day. I enjoyed that game a lot. I didn't think the servers were even on any more.

They officially shut down the game. Recently NCSoft allowed the fans to have access to some of the code, but not all of the intellectual property. You can use the character creator and you can use travel powers to travel all around paragon city, but there are no enemies to fight, so it's basically a COH chat room.
