Okay, concerning "The Secret Messages". As this is the opening task and was designed to be incorporated in every route possible, any cross at any local church will do. And as a GM I will now use my powah to patch the rules (behold!) and add that any photo of Jehova's Witnesses taken IRL will count as a Morninglight reference.

As for myself, I decided to take it to Nightmare level and persuade Jehova's Witnesses to say "Hiya, Chuck!" on camera but failed so far. They said that Jehovah doesen't forbid those words but they're just not in the mood right now. It's a pity that I wasn't documenting that on the video, because when I came to them and asked to talk to the camera they said that they would like me to study Bible. I said that I already know Bible, now it's their turn. And so we argued for ten minutes or so, ending with the conclusion that they, as a simple mortal people have their flaws and therefore won't do me this favor.

And I'd like to remind that you don't have to do the tasks in order (this time), and there are plenty other in-game tasks to fill the gaps.

LOL at Jehova's. I started preaching to them about power humanity one of the times when they came around was funny to see how they faces changed from happy to glum, but they did not know how to get away.

The JW missionaries who came to our door once make the mistake of asking me what I thought the worst problem was in the world. With their children in hearing range.

Quoth I, 'Overpopulation'.

I then went on to explain the problems caused by human overpopulation (eg, depletion of resources, pollution, etc).

THEN I pointed out that God had two potential ways to reduce the population: the death of existing humans, or a reduction in the creation of new ones. Pointed out that that's IT. There are no other options.
I started listing ways to kill off existing humans, watching their expressions go greener and greener.
Then I explained how God helps those who help themselves, and God has allowed us to develop contraceptives, thus enabling US to help ourselves by reducing the creation of new humans.

After making them that uncomfortable, I let them excuse themselves and leave. 😀

We haven't had a visit from the Morningli... er, JW ... since.

Want to apologize for sidetracking into religion. It's a big no no, I remember it now.

I don't think you have to apologize: I guess anyone playing TSW has some of that healthy scepticism. On the other hand, I didn't want to offend anyone, it's just a wasy to make things more challenging. It's like going through NMs in green gear: pointless, but made for pure fun, no more, no less!

Team Five Scrolls Secret Messages entry.

Finally, this was probably made either by Illuminati again, with their love for "enlightened" Latin mottos. Or maybe Morninglight, because it depicts sun.

Had to travel to Lviv to get any decent Secret World pictures. Not much "secret" stuff in my city after all.

This was beyond awesome. My /bows, /salutes and /cheers to you!

Especially for the valerian one, for it showed the... well, diversity of the secret messages. The task wasn't limited by the architecture and masonry, in fact, the original description of it said: "The task is to take a picture of anything connected to the TSW in your city. Maybe there is an illuminati triangle painted on the wall on your way to work, maybe yesterday you were at the local restaurant and ate some fugu named "Daimon's Tricky Treat", maybe there is a cross in the local jewelry store you always wanted to buy - just take a photo." Now I think it was a mistake to cut this (too much text!), and you all have my humble apologies.

And to keep the game going, the Team Urbos (it is how we are named, right? scratches head) entry for the "I Spy" with an "H" task. And my apologies to Hollo for stalking him to get that pic 😀

I loved the "we do not sell dynamite" img followed by the dynamite one xD And that cross looks very templar-y to me!

This actually heavily remind me of Kaidan, both pics - I know that the sculpture near the Faust bank doesn't look like that pyramid, but the overall atmosphere...

As I've seen from the previous enties all teams take the tasks very responsibly and seriously, which is all good, but, in fact, we don't demand super big efforts on this game. This was shot moments ago to keep this thread alive and to show that you can actually be more relaxed while doing them, as fun is the primary overall directive here!

Not particularly happy with this one. Wanted to avoid too obvious stuff, like Indiana Jones or Matrix, but still something memorable. This task made me wish Five Scrolls were not one man team.

Hiverun update!

Team AWOL and team Five Scrolls are equal again, they both have 30 points. We managed to keep up (for some time) with the Grand Opening, but now I guess we should consider doing the Cosplay Kings. Way to go!

Out of curiosity, the cosplay kings on both sides has the same description, how do we get the one on the west side?

Ah, both you and T5S got the west side by default (since you are heading to the "Challenge accepted" cell), it's just a minor visual bug, will be fixed in a new update =)

Phew! I thought we had mucked up somehow 🙂

I noticed a new barbershop opened for business on my way to work today. It's not "Ockham's Razor" but it's name is still something familiar.
