So I just returned to the game after six months or so, and figured it would be nice to find a new home filled with new people. Thanks for having me!
Started playing a few months after launch, when it became apparent that my beloved City of Heroes was about to get the axe. Both of my existing TSW characters got their start in CoH, and both have rather long and involved histories which I hope to unfold hereabouts at some point.
During much of my TSW time I was a member of Group W. Good people, good times, lots of PVP. Shame I had to step away from the game, but now I'm back for a fresh start and poking around the new stuff that's come along in the meantime.
I mostly run missions and PVP, but I do have some limited experience in the OG NM dungeons and NY raid. I've never set foot in a Kaiden dungeon, so lots to learn on that end, perhaps.
About me: My name is Matt, I'm 46, and I've been gaming since the early 80s, video games and PnP role playing. Got into MMOs with EverQuest in 2000, then jumped to WoW in 2004 for a few years, and then stepped away from MMOs for some time before getting into CoH about 2009. I also dabble in EVE Online, but my gaming time frequently constricts these days and that's about to come to an end.
