Members are able to use the calendar to create events which other people can sign up for.

For the purposes of this quick guide, I'll be referring to what needs to be done for a Lair Raid, but the principles are pretty much the same for anything.

First off, open the calendar, and then click on the square of the day your event will be on. If you click somewhere wrong, fret not, that can be amended in the next steps.

From the saved templates drop down menu, select "Lair Raid".

This will load a template with some (most, hopefully) of the stuff already input.
First up, if you're not Graf, you'll want to select your own name from the Raidleader drop down menu (the red box). The list is searchable, but only contains registered characters. If you haven't registered your character on the site, you'll need to do so before you can set up your events with you as the official raid leader. Find your name and tick the box beside it, and don't forget to untick Graf's name too!

Start and End times (green box) will give you a mini calendar for selecting the date and sliders to change the time. You can also highlight the text and edit that too. Remember that the site will automatically adjust times to the time zone you have selected on your profile page. If you haven't done that already, it will default to London times.

The attendee list on the right hand side is up to you to enter values in (the pink box if you hadn't already guessed!). Enter values for how many spots you have for tanks, heal tanks, healers, DPS, though I'm fairly confident that you can leave the Podder field empty (that's a NY raid thing). You should see the attendees number increase. If you don't give a damn what roles you have, you can select "No distribution" in the Raidmode dropdown and manually enter the max number of participants.

Finally, tell the people what you're going to be doing! Information about the raid/event goes into the Note box (orange). Finally, click the "Save event" button and your event will appear on the calendar. If it doesn't (and be sure to let it load, which may take a moment), please poke an officer and we'll go scratch our heads over it 😀
