Haven't introduced myself yet, so here we go.
I guess I'll start with the basics. In my mid-30s, married and have two kids of the canine persuasion.
Was told about TSW by a couple of my hubby's coworkers (hubby is not a gamer). I really enjoyed the game play and story so after aforementioned coworkers stopped playing in favor of another MMO, I created a Templar and was fortuitously and fortunately recruited by Pyre or I would have stopped playing altogether. I learned more about the game in 20 minutes talking to him than the entire previous 8 months.
I very much like the Templar mindset and I enjoy helping other people within the game, but only when I know what I'm doing, which isn't often. (Okay, I really suck.)
Ever since playing the barbarian character in Diablo II, I was hooked on melee: blood and brute force. It's a great stress reliever. TSW certainly gives you no choice but to branch out, so I am learning to appreciate range and magic.
I enjoy RP, and will do so the majority of the time in public with RichardRahl and all the time with my alt, Tithen (means 'tiny' in Sindarin).
I generally play once or twice a week for a few hours because I have other hobbies I very much enjoy, such as writing, art, reading, photography and drinking scotch. Not necessarily in that order and possibly at the same time. 😎
Anyway, glad to be aboard and looking forward to finally defeating the Gatekeeper so I can be of some use in Raids and play with the 'big guys'. Sure is fun going along for the ride.
