Heya All its Ember/Anne here... Im in NC and RIGHT in the path of Florence.. its hitting Thurs and as of Thurs Morn Im goin somewhere safe. I won't have "Stable" Internet there.. Should be there for 2 days. If Im not in game its cause Im weathering the Hurricane. I will be back ones its clear :)

Alrighty All power was out for 4 Days! I made it through Florence fine.. LOTS of water.. As my husband likes to say.. Water water everwhere.. NOT a Drop to drink! :D but no serious damage to me and mine. Thinkin Work FINALLY has power again or will sometime today so its back to the Grindstone. I will be ingame after work and my days off ;D Take care all

One thing that had me just completely amused was the Waffle House Index that FEMA uses to judge community recovery from major events like hurricanes and tornados. It's a real thing, and I was literally laughing out loud when my boyfriend read me the article about it. I don't know WHY it amused me so much, except maybe the irony of a huge federal agency using a dinky little joint like Waffle House (or Awful Waffle, as we call them in Kentucky) to judge an area's recovery.
