I'm happy to be here. Thank you for the welcome.
I am Mike, Guruweaver, Atren in SWL.
I live in Georgia, USA. Married, father of three, late 40's. I've been gaming, in one form or another, since the '70's. I'm into outdoors activities, hiking, motorcycling, horse riding, that sort of thing.
I've done the MMO thing off and on over the years. I did play TSW a bit, but didn't really get caught up into the mechanics. I liked the world and the lore, though. SWL seemed like a good way to get back into it.
I'm currently playing a level 30 gunslinger, though I still don't really feel like I've got a good grasp on combat mechanics. The limited amount of active skills keeps tripping me up. Do I keep X or Y? How about this? How about that?
Anyway, I tend to keep odd hours and do a lot of solo play. That said, I was looking for a cabal/guild that would be friendly, casual, and conducive to that sort of play style. I"m up for some light role playing and grouping for dungeons and other content, time permitting.
