The floor is rough and uneven. You find a puddle in the area where you fashioned the towel whip and a number of loose stones scattered around the room. Most of the stones seem to be of the same material as the floor, but, of those that aren't, one is a smooth, fist-sized, oblate spheroid while the other is flat and smooth with a sharp edge.

You pick up the two stones. The oblate spheroid is extremely heavy, heavier than you imagined, a burden even. You bash the sharp stone into the burdeness rock with a satistying clunk but not much interesting happens.

    Your inventory now contains:

    • oblate spheroid stone, extremely heavy.[/*:m]
    • Flint[/*:m][/list:u]

There is a thud and clink as the two clash, but otherwise nothing

"...heavier than you imagined, a burden even...." Seems key.

The stone hits the door with a thud and as it does you instantly feel burdened again. You discover the stone has mysteriously returned to your inventory and the door is undamaged.

Hint: Remember to examine objects around you and in your inventory.

The stone has to do "something" here but quite frankly, no fucking idea.

Lacking any potatoes you do the next best thing, a Lost Boys imagination feast! You picture a table full of potato based dishes: boiled, roasted, fried, mashed. There's even Deep Fried Creme Egg Bacon Poutine. You are now Hungry

The lamp is an empty oil lamp, that explains the lack of batteries.

You examine the stone. Passing it from hand to hand. Judging from it's unusual weight and mystical properties you determine it to be a Cursed Loadstone. Knowing it to be what it is now, you realise it would cause no more damage to Pyre than the flint you are carrying, espiecially since it lacks the piercing bonus.

    Inventory updated, now has:

    Cursed Loadstone

You fumble the door in the darkness but you're unable to locate anything resembling a keyhole.
