Killing's Art Thread

The website's changed relatively little from when we first migrated here over a year ago (my god, has it been that long?!). We've recently done some tinkering around with background art and logos, but nothing terribly major. In terms of artwork on the site, on our old enjin site we were using a load of similar stuff like the rank flags, but we never really settled on an idea about what to do next.

There was an original brief outline (somewhere) about the idea of bringing the Templars into the modern era (rather than continuing with flags possibly); and wanting to have a light coloured background for the site, as there was a trend of having black or dark backgrounds that we wanted to move away from.

Potentially, we can modify pretty much everything about the site. The main hindrance is lack of technical knowledge. Those of us with access to the keys don't have much experience with phpBB, EQDKP+ and MySQL coding. Hlopushka's done a fantastic job of setting up the site as it is, and I fumble around like a drunk blind man trying to work out how to do stuff 😀

If you (or anyone) has a vision about how we could do things, please, feel free to make suggestions. I believe we can do a lot more than we have done so far, but I know that personally I don't have any vision in mind to work towards. So if you've got any ideas, please do share them 😀 We may not use them all, but you can be sure there will be a LOT of discussion about it!!
