As people have alts, friends, and maybe being ex odo member, there shall be a place we can still all be connected and share information.
So...maybe we shall have something like /chat join odorabbithole in autologin script 😀

For friends and allies, we have discord (as you can see, not everyone who has access to our discord is a cabal member). As for in-game Global chat..I wouldn't like having it instead of Cabal channel, as it turns into a goddamn mess - there are caballies chatting, non-caballies chatting, fks up calls for lairs and dungeons if you'd prefer an all-cabal run, fks up tracking whether or not we can expect people to adhere to Community Standards (as non-members obviously wouldn't have to). On the other end, if it's in addition to Cabal chat, there would be very little actually going on, if most people still use Cabal chat, splits up the discussions, etc. I was (briefly) in LoMS in TSW, it's not pretty. I think if we have friends or allies, they can be invited to Discord as they are now, if it's alts - they can either join the cabal or they know who to send /tells to, if needed. So that was my terrible 2 cents 😀

technically, ODOglobal has actually been around for a few years already 🙂 we used to use it in tsw for people who had alts in other factions. These days though, it doesn't really get any users joining - there's a couple of us who have the joining command on their login script, but for most people discord is the preferred channel outside of cabal chat.

İ really like this idea, if we advertise it, many people would use it. Especially would be usefull when you are trying to form a group, with this global channel you can reach friends/alts.
