I'm having a Driver Power State Failure every time I use my computer not in safe mode, from ntoskrnl.exe which causes my system to crash, and then reboot immediately. It looks like it's a driver issue- since I'm in safe mode with networking enabled and I am having no issues. Going to revert to an old saved spot as my first line, other than that, I'm going to be boned, trying to figure out how to fix Crash address ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0

Everything seems to be running smooth with a revert to a few days ago, so, knocks on wood

Is persisting. Deleted some drivers that have been reported as linked to this error.

Is still persisting when under load, same BSOD so that's a plus to know. Seem stable only till I start pushing, I get the power failure.

Installing WinDbg to see if I can pin point this down further (not like I know what the fuck I'm DOING with windbg)

I'm fucked, I'm thinking only a full reinstall of Windows and everything else is going to fix this shit.

Am doing data backups of anything I don't want to lose, but I'm going to be out of commission for a bit. I hope I can Raid tomorrow, but I really don't know if I"m going to be able to get everything up and running. I might try reverting my GPU drivers back, but even that might not work (it seems tied to GPU/Graphical interface)

Might have this figured out WITHOUT a full system reinstall. Looks like the latest Nvidia Drivers, which come with the GeForce Experience bullshit autoupdate idiocy,is fucking things up. Reverting.

Now I can't even generate a mini.dmp file, even though BSOD hits after boot up (I'll see if this tweak changes it). Then I'll have to regedit my bootup system to change a few things, but if this keeps me stable, I SHOULD be stable?

If not, I'm looking at full system wipe today.

Am down, worked for a few days, now refuses to start, crash and bsod on start. Checking a 1tb harddrive can take ages.

Might have to either full reinstall, or new hdd.

Full reinstall, have my USB controller up and running, think I might be stable. Backing up TSW in toto to external so I can get my settings and shit back after I removed windows.old from my computer. Seem stable, hopefully removing .old removes whatever is going on. Otherwise I have either a faulty HDD or ram.

Side note: it IS nice how fast a fresh Windows install boots up.

to find your settings folders, put %appdata% into the explorer window. That will take you to your roaming folder, and you'll need to go up a level to find your local folder - mine is C:\Users\AWOL\AppData\Local\Funcom for example. Save the prefs folder and then after a resintall you can restore them all.

Ah, my stuff persisted, but I've had a few more issues crop up.

Think I pinned this down now that I noticed Windows Security Service doesn't run, and CAN'T RUN, while in Safe Mode.

I've done a bit of sleuthing (ie, downloading any fucking reputable shit I can find and runnin' that shit-- to have something like this persist, it has to be a root). MBAR (Malware Bytes Anti Rootkit) found RPCSS.dll was bugfuck and couldn't be fixed (driver power state failure anyone?) so I have been slamming head against wall to figure this out. Have replaced it with a solid version, but now running many anti root kits and other shit to see what ELSE might be on this damned pox-ridden whore.
