    Combat:
    I was dpsing
Before the Big Boss, everything is just the same.

Tanks mentioned they do not need to switch aggo during first phase.
After 1/3 of the hp gone, the boss launched his black beep storm like old new york run.
And then 4 birds as before
After that, tanks mentioned they will need to switch aggo during 2nd phase or healers cannot keep up healing them.

    Tips:
Pod is in story mode too.
Flith will need to be placed carefully like old NYR
Adds are coming from behind like old NYR, need a dedicated DPS throwing AOEs on them.
When boss go below 100000(I forgot how many zero >.>) It will channeling something can wipe the raid,KILL HIM BEFORE THAT! IT'S A DPS RACE!

    Reward:
[23:25] You received [Military cap, filthy tan]
[23:25] You received [Army combat gloves, filthy tan]
[23:25] You received [Talisman Distillate (5,250cc)]
[23:25] You received [Weapon Distillate (4,750cc)]
[23:25] You received [Talisman Distillate (4,750cc)]
    No key needed

    Cooldown: 4days and 16 hours D:

    Update E1:
It can be really hard like the NYR in TSW with a group of 10.2 gear level people (May not be very objective...)
    I was healing.
Tanks need to actively switch aggo.
We get a few times, they failed to do so and they got instantly killed....
I almost found the same feeling like I did NYR first time 4 years ago when the team was wiped for 6 hours and I was drinking tons of coffee 5 am at morning without sleep.....(But, we didn't get so miserable this time, we only wiped for 2.5 hours >.< )

Podder reported it's harder to do their role in swl then tsw... need to verify further....

    Tips:
2 healers and 2 tanks and 1 podder MUST be in the same team.
And no, I do not care if dps dies to fists >.< (Dps needs to be very careful about fists, and check back to see flith location and if podder is podded very a few seconds. Gears cannot help you! One-shot is not healable)
DO NOT HEAL TANK WHEN THEY ARE RUNNING BACK TO BOSS AFTER KILL 4 BIRDS OR BOSS WILL ONE-SHOT YOU!
Tank needs lots of migrate skills. We got through with 2 Graf-Class Heavy Tanks. 😝 Each with 12k+ hp
Be positive! Don't blame others. That's not productive. Expecting die many many times, but we only need to kill the boss onceEven it may take hours...

    Reward:
[02:22] You received [Chronicle of Purity of Destruction Mk II]
[02:22] You received [Talisman Distillate (5,750cc)]
[02:22] You received [Weapon Distillate (5,750cc)]
[02:22] You received [Weapon Distillate (5,500cc)]
    No key needed....
Anyway, I healed through NYR E1 cheers XD

Cooldown may be bugged....after I finish E1, the cooldown displayes as the same as story mode.(Both of them when the post is written is shown as 4 day and 13 hours) But, I am sure they are using separate cd as I did e1 after story

Most likely raid reset for both story and elite happens at the same time on Tuesdays, as with weekly challenges in Classic.

Yeah, cd resets on Tuesdays it seems. Once you've done the raid once, you'll still be able to queue and repeat, but will receive reduced rewards (3k distillates on story for example) until the official lockout resets.

Whisper of Darkness story mode has had its damage reduced, but healers should be able to stay on top of it. Not sure what you experienced with the tanks needing to swap earlier in P3, whisper of darkness does less damage the longer you leave it, so swapping early should actually make it harder to heal, not easier...

The pod mechanics are exactly the same as in TSW. Getting in line with the path of the pod and walking backwards will cancel the pod (note that this does not work in e5 where the person targeted must be podded).

Tanks need to have an aggro forcing ability. That can be a gadget or an active ability, not 100% sure if Enter the Fray works or not (as Lurker can be a bit funny about charges given the size of the hitbox). There is a last second puddle of filth in front of the Lurker after the transition Shadow out of Time from P2 to P3, tanks and gung ho dps need to watch out for running in too quickly and dying to it.

Buff circles only effect 4 people each, weapon choice is not relevant, just number of people. Healing is not buffed, so fist healers should stand at the front, NOT in a circle. Personally, I like to stand in front of the mid-range circle, so on the left when facing the Lurker, but that's not a "you must stand here" thing. It's a good idea for the healer to stand at the front so that the adds don't jump you from behind.

At low HP, Lurker casts Final Resort, which basically blows up in a circle around Zuberi. If your group has high damage, you can stay in the circle and keep dpsing the boss, but if you don't do enough damage, you will die from Final Resort. After FR, the Lurker puts stacks of Whisper of Darkness on everyone. That means you have 20 seconds to kill the Lurker before you die, but it also means you can ignore any further Shadow Out of Time waves, as you don't get knocked back if you have WoD stacks. If tanking or healing, it is recommended if you are using Effects UI to set up a Whisper Of Darkness tracker of its own that you can scale up for ease of reference.

E1 difficulty is variable. If you get a good group, it's done in 5 mins. If you don't get it done that fast, be patient as there are plenty of people who have not encountered the mechanics before, so don't be a dick about it!

Just my expierence as a tank (E1). Ran it with 2 PUGs...

Tanking the Lurker (I will refer to him as Fred) felt not very challenging compared with various crap a tank might have to deal in other bossfights.

    P1:

It is just tank and spank. As a tank, you stand there, hit Fred with your hammer and you are avoiding the big fist AOE, that shouldn't be a problem, as there are way more difficult dodges in dungeons. For example "Spitelance" or "Akhab Dash". So I was just busy watching my tank partner (7k hp all blue) and the debuff ticking down. At 15 I cast Glutton for Punishment (Aggro+Migitation) and "Thick Skin". Than hitting some pulverize, and hoping my partner took back the aggro before it was too late.

    P2:

Adds and birds. Grabbing adds, just to keep healers alive and feed them to the DPS. They are kin of fragile in E1, and don't hit that hard, so no big deal. Same goes for the 4 birds. If you know the spawn location, it is easy to grab them, and just tank Good thing is, that the birdies wait till someone aggros them and don't jump DPS when tanks are a bit sleepy.

    Transition to P3:

Do not pre-heal. Fred kills you, for doing it.

    P3:

Almost same as P1. Attack Fred, watch your tanking partners debuff, avoid AOE. Now you just need to watch, that you get the buff from the circle. If not, it is hard to hold aggro. Sometimes he will cast "Shadow out of time", the big filth wave attack, but as any tank should know, "Whispers of Darkness" protects you from it. So you can just ignore it. It is just standing there and hitting Fred. At the end, he casts "Last Resort". In my groups, it wasn't that much of a challenge to beat that race.

    To sum it up:
It is not hard to tank Fred in E1. There is nothing fancy you need to do. P1 and P3 is comparable to the Haugbui Jarl (Pol 1), P2 is just add grabbing, like Primordial Dweller(Pol 5).

The build I used to tank:

    Hammer/Shotgun

    Hammer-AOE-Basic - just a need
Glutton for Punishment - Take aggro and Glances
    Thick Skin - Shield
Kneecapper - Cone Snare (adds), Defence, Interrupt, Hate (very useful in any phase of the fight)
Pulverise - Hammer spender, HP-buff, self heal (The reason why tanking with a hammer)
HEAT-Rounds - SG-AOE-Spender. Great to aggro add groups.

    Passives:

Thickskin + Kneecapper + Pulverise passives

    Unbridled Wrath
    Die Hard

As a note on tanking: In E1 (and up) one tank can steal back the stacks in a couple of seconds if the tank pair is very unbalanced. This can especially happen when one tank is not standing on the melee buffing circle.

Also it might be a good idea not to refer to TSW as not all members have knowledge about TSW.
