Eh...yeah, kinda hate the white tbh. Maybe a thin outline around the black outside circle would work better? Doesn't have to be white, I find it a little too contrasted, but maybe dark red? And the top three faction things together are fine, but on the side, everything gets muddled and lost, I'd just keep the Orochi logo.

That. Is actually kinda cool. If we wanted to tweak it veeery slightly, now that I look at it, I'd say that since the ODO lettering already has the multifaction aspect covered, the top faction emblems seem kinda redundant...although I can't think of anything we'd want there instead.. thinking
Suggestion:
1. I'd sharpen the dice edges, as all other parts seem to have seamless, sharper edges, not roundy ones.
2. Faction logos, orochi logo - if we want that, I'd suggest going for the vector, simplified ones as now it's a graphic-pasted-into the logo, which doesn't correspond to the rest of the design in my eyes
3. How about we make the die itself a lighter shade? Just curious.
4. 3 sides, maybe just a 3-coloured cube as a logo, and a more deliberate one being with ODO letters?tbh the biggest problem atm comes from the fact that inkscape really doesn't want to let me do any perspective transforms, which is making the dice a pain in the ass.
Out of curiosity, can anyone else suggest a graphics editor that does svg and is free?
colour is easily changed, haven't quite nailed the proportions right yet, but it's enough to give a prototype.
Meh, the original black one looked better. On the sharper edges, I completely disagree with Bri - I think it clashes with the roundness of ODO lettering and just looks...clumsier, somehow, or unrealistic (no actual dice has edges that sharp), idk, I can't quite put my finger on it.
Could explore that option, too..although we might run into the problem of making it look too overwhelming with the colours again. Although if someone's bored and wants to make an example of it...
Just something that popped into my head - what about covering the two less prominent sides messily with all the symbols from SWL that we could think of in black and white, overlapping one another, etc, so scaled down it'd end up looking sort of patterned black and white sides. It'd have the benefit of not having to choose specific stuff and making people think there's too much significance. Or would that look like trash?

Though one thing i just realised is that we don't use the swl swirl anywhere....What about just using the swirl on the two remaining sides then? So we'd have the dice with 3 sides, the most prominent one with the ODO lettering and other two with the swirls, white/grey on black (or maybe even use the black signal as the background on all three sides, instead of just the black as it is)? It's basic, but avoids all other problems of too complicated/too patterened/too specific significance, what might people think...etc. Or is that a little TOO basic af?

OK, the deadline has passed, so we're going to lock this thread and move on to discussing whether we change to a new design or keep the logo.
