I love how helpful everyone are by joining low level dungeons when someone asks for them in cabal chat. BUT please remember to adjust your OPness if the tank is on level for that dungeon, or alot less geared than yourself. And if the tank is also new to tanking and still learning mechanics of the dungeons, please try to be considerate of that as well. Even if many of us know these dungeons by heart after running them for years back in tsw, and for months here in swl - we can still show some respect for people still learning, can't we? Show some patience when people are new, explain mechanics if needed, simply just help each other become as good as we can be?

Ways to adjust OPness if your ip level is alot higher than the tanks, may include:
    1. Anima allocation - put more stats into tank or heal
    2. Using less power abilities and elite abilities. Maybe even just basic abilities
    3. Change weapons - Maybe your bursty hammer is better off staying in your bag?
    4. All of the above?

We all play this game for the fun, right? Could we please try to make a dungeon run fun for everyone?

    1. Ask Tai for nonsensical and absurd builds.

All of this. You can blame the tank for losing aggro when you're close-to-equal gear-wise, but if you're running with someone as tank you haven't run before or are not sure what their IP is compared to yours, it could be worth checking (and tanks would do well to speak up themselves, too), and being a little bit more considerate.

I don't know if this is the right topic, but thanks for all those who helped me learn tanking all the different stuff up to E5. I only had very polite and helpful cabalmembers, so this thread is definatly working.
