My Grandfather was a baker and since fall season is around the corner, I'll post his recipe for Pumpkin Bread.
    3 cups Sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp allspice
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder

    2/3 cup water
    1 cup oil
    4 large eggs
    15 ounces Pumpkin

    preheat the oven to 350
grease and flour 6 12 oz. loaf tins
mix together the dry ingredients in one bowl (I would suggest doing this one in a LARGE bowl)
mix together the wet ingredients in another bowl
gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
pour the batter until the bread mix is about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way from the top
Bake for 1 hour (I normally start checking around 40 minutes, how to check if they're done is press down with a finger, if it springs back, it's ready)

    makes 6 __12 ounce loaves

This is the most requested baked item I make, no matter the time of year ^-^

I'll put it to you this way, the spices are what do it for the bread. Best friend's fiancee swears he doesn't like pumpkin, but he devoured half a loaf of it.
