I remember sometime ago there was talk about other types of scenarios. Did they totally abandon this idea? Also why is Shamballa listed in the scenario window as an option when choosing scenario options?

The didnt abondon the idea, that's what Shambala is: a different type of scenario 🙂. That's why it is listed in the scenario window.

They were working on other scenario types, but they got sidelined whilst they sorted out more story content and the museum. The ideas are still around, but atm we don't know how far along they are.
