    1. night mode
    2. Chat/Shout box
    3. For example when creating a build i want people to see what a skill does when hovering a skill name(or skill image). (ie: www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/8-9-the-guardian-janna-support-284297)
    4. On discord, I think some of the ODO Events bot's post are just cluttering the channel(someone signup or confirmed signup posts), i could understand event creation but its cluttering overall, so either have a different channel that bot spams these kind of stuff, or just spam event creation posts and not others on raid channel.

    Poor Dom. You'll never come back to the game, there is just millions of features we already shelved for later with many other nice to haves... Poor, poor Dominy...

    Agreed, actually. I think an event being created, cancelled or edited by host would be good to announce, but individual sign-ups for all the events on the calendar....eh.

    I can see both sides there tbh. It's probably not going to get too spammy in a normal week, though it'll be bad right now with lots of events to sign up for on the new system. It may also be a good thing for reminding people to go sign up, and that there's raids being actively organised.
    I'd suggest a test period of a few weeks - if it doesn't stabilise then yeah, it needs to be changed.

    @Dominy does the bot ping every time someone is confirmed too? Just thinking that it might be better to have a button to press to generate the confirmed list rather than the bot pinging every confirmed slot.

    1. Most browsers have night mode support native or though plugins.
    2. It's on my "do later" list. If someone makes a design for this, it would be easier to start on.
    3. Possible, but requires more man power. github.com/joakibj/tswrdb is a good place to start scraping the RDB for info.
    4. We can tweak the bot spam, no problem.

    Confirming a signup do not spam do discord. There is a separate button posting confirmed signups as a list.

    Button to go from the forums to the main site. For no other reason than to avoid the slight inconveninece of changing the url.

    1. Make notification system like in youtube that notifies you when a new thread is created, new application came, post was made to a thread that user created, private message etc.

    2. maybe we can upload images/videos in this website ? Could be usefull for many applications, like Keeper's album

    3. Populate main page more ? latest threads, latest posts, upcoming events, news section, random image shower like in old website. Could be good for both information and impressing drifters.

    4. Change that lurker's picture to something else ? something more ODO folk like, a picture from cabal pride event could be a good start.

    5. Please... change that logo...

    6. Create a text in events that you can copy and paste into in-game chat to invite people like:
      /invitetoraid Endashi
      /invitetoraid Dominy
      etc.

    7. Have emotes when posting?

    1. That's actually on my list of things to consider. It could work for applications, but we are already sending notifications to discord about this, so it's not high up on the list.

    2. You can upload files to forum threads at least. If we need some kind of media collection or gallery that needs some more thought behind it. I am open for input on that one. For larger files like videos it's better to use youtube (forum supports embedding video links) and link it here. We are paying for our storage and cannot justify hosting large files.

    3. I'd imagine the front page will be populated over time once new things are added. First on the list there is a shout box, but that might change based in input.

    4. If you have any images, attach them here

    5. Not much progress on the logo atm. We rely on people helping out here.

    6. Consider it done.

    7. You need to use the emoji keyboard that comes with your operating system. On tablets and phones this is already built in. This forum is using utf8 character set, so it supports the emoji standard. 😊🙂🙃😆😁😌😛

    OS X: control + command + space
    Windows 10: Win + . or Win + ;

    For win7 and 8 it might be more hidden.

    Also, if you want to contribute in any way, don't hesitate to do so.

    This is only true for keyboards where the system is using English (US). Your keyboard doesn't have to be set to that layout, but it won't work if your system runs on English (UK).
    What you can do is click on the touch keyboard icon in your system tray and that'll have the emojis on it.

    Regarding notifications, the forum already gives you the option to "subscribe" to threads. It will automatically subscribe you to threads you create or post in, and there is then a tab of your subscribed threads. That's going to be more noticeable going forwards, as the system doesn't subscribe us to old thread which have been ported over. You can manually adjust your subscriptions by clicking on the little star button both on individual threads or from the category page.

    The front page is a tricky one tbh. I agree that a different picture would be nice, but one of the things we saw on eqdkp was that most people didn't bother reading news stories. The same went for the random picture gallery - the click rate was virtually non-existent. I think the shoutbox is a potentially useful idea, and there have been discussions about how we could link that to discord too but I think we'd need to think long and hard about what we want the role of the front page to be.

    2 Yeah i am talking about like a gallery or smth. Maybe not for videos (probably an overkill), but definitely for pictures, everyone could create their own album and upload their pictures there both relevant to SWL or community itself.

    4 i wasnt there in cabal pride, but someone ought to have a picture right ?

    yeah i know you can subscribe to threads i am talking about notifications for the things i wrote above, can be usefull imo.

    I know no one bother to read news stories but that also goes to forum itself, ODO doesnt have much of a forum culture, and most people, including me, will use this website for signing up events, tho i think having a chat bot in-game will improve things.

    PS: that Win + . didnt work for me, will research more.

    Edit: another suggestion, maybe have some kind of a background image ? because with white background feels like i am in a some random generic forum, could be better if there was a SWL or ODO relevant stuff.
