I forgot that I had only mentioned what I am in the process of doing on a post in the officer forums. So, to clear things up, I am leaving the game.
There are numerous reasons, but I guess the biggest is that I don't like the direction the game has been heading in for the last year or so. If there was the slightest glimmer of hope that Funcom was going to change the direction, I might have just taken a brief sabbatical, but there isn't.
You will see me on once or twice over the next 3 months because I am using my monthly grandmaster points to buy signet extractors. I am donating all of my epic signets to the cabal, like I have been since early December, but those extractors cost a decent chunk of points. I am down to 3 signets on PKJ, but since they are just 2 Augurs and a Binding, I might use next month's points to start pulling the more expensive signets (Lac,Breaching, etc) off HIvefive.
Hollopoint will work with the other officers to figure out a method of distribution, if he hasn't already, and I hope they will serve cabal members that need them but didn't have the millions of pax to buy them.
So, this is my 'official' goodbye, although like I said, I will be on and still in the cabal for the next few months. I wish you all well and if you see me on, don't hesitate to say hi.
