Hello folks,
as I got encouraged to introduce myself, here we go. My name is Manuel, I am from Germany and still in my mid-thirties. I once was married, am now divorced and single-father of 2 daughters. I studied law, worked as a state attorney and I own now an antiquities store with a small cafe. That's my life in about 4 sentences. Kind of depressing.
I started playing Secret World about 6 months after launch. My ex-wife introduced my to the game. Wife left, game stayed. I must admit, I got deeply attached to the game, so far that i even bought a grandmaster-pack back then.
My ingame name, Shannon "TacWitch" Forakker, is based on a side character in David Weber's honor Harrington-book series. There was no particular reason, why I choose that name back then, but it stuck with my over time, and so I decided to keep it with the relaunch. Ingame I prefer the dungeons and raid instances, and any content that isn't designed to be beaten without effort. I also tend to try various approaches to some situations and just testing things out. I usually play as a tank, basically cause I don't like damage mechanics and calculations. I prefer movement and awareness tests over item checks and figuring out efficient skillrotations.
I tend to be a more silent guy, but I am always watching.
