Greetings, Cabalies!
Some of you recognize me already. I make a decent amount of noise in the Cabal channel in SWL.
I've been playing TSW on and off for some years, and I like a lot of the major changes in SWL. Per chance, I ran with Bobbie/Salver in Polaris in the final Closed Beta for SWL, got myself invited to ODO and here I and my characters are.
I love metal. It's the music genre I listen to the most. Consequently, my three characters, all of whom are in ODO, are metal themed in some way.
My main is MetalHound. She's a Dragon that uses Chaos and Pistols. I brought her name over from TSW. My other options were Expulser and...I don't remember the third. Must not have been an awesome enough name. I recently had the pleasure of the company of a two high level players to help me through the dungeon in Shattered Coast. Even though I didn't have any explicit hate generating abilities equipped, I still managed to pull the final boss's attention fairly frequently. Therefore, I'm thinking of designing MetalHound's build for DPS Tank.
My alts are Explodinatus and Ormagohden. While I don't really intend Hound for RP, Explodinatus and Ormagohden are both available for it.
Explodinatus, recognizable by his bright orange hair and love of fire, is a Templar that uses Shotguns and Elementalism for that mid-to-long range firey love. His name is a combination of "explosion" and "exterminatus," as in the Exterminatus Protocol from Warhammer 40k. Explodinatus is probably going to be a ranged DPS/area control build for now.
Ormagohden, named for the great fire beast Ormagoden of Brutal Legend, is in the Illuminati and use Shotguns and Hammers for that in-their-faces pain delivery. Ormagohden is probably going to be a DPS Tank as well. Also, he's arguably the best looking of my three.
