Not sure, there are 2 ways to add a picture to your post.
attach it to the post, you need to be able to access the picture on the device and it can't exceed size limitation, which I can't remember.
Upload the picture to an image hosting site and link it to the post using the [ img ] tag with url pointing directly to the image file

Step 1. Get rid of the iPhone and get an Android
Step 2. Using the new phone, log into the site, and attach the pic...It is that easy...

Ya. The picture exceeds size limit.

You can get apps which resize pics, that's going to be your best bet
